Emily Volman is a singer, comedian, voiceover actor and writer. Most notably, Emily co-wrote several songs for both season of AppleTV’s animated series, Frog and Toad, which won an Emmy for Best Music Direction and Composition for an Animated Program. Emily recently directed her first film, Concessions, and her voice has been heard on NBC’s tv series Ordinary Joe and in commercials for Wrigley, Folgers, Pepsi, and Sierra Mist.
Emily’s improv training at The Groundlings School and both the comedy writing and musical improv programs at The Second City Los Angeles has garnered her appearances on The Tonight Show, hosting roles on GAC’s Top 20 Countdown, Geek Nation, and Scripp’s web series Remote Ideas, as well as inspired her to co-found Nashville’s first improv comedy theatre. Emily’s comedy writing has also been heard on The Ellen Degeneres Show, The Moth Radio Hour, Splitsider, Someecards, USAToday, and gained her a screenwriting development deal with SouthPaw Entertainment.
Emily attended Emerson College for theatre and earned a degree in music from Loyola Marymount University. She is also a relationship and sex therapist and a Certified Master Gardener.
